Terms and Conditions for SMS Communications

Welcome to the SMS text messaging service of First Baptist Church of Colbert Heights. By opting into our text updates via our phone system or direct request, you agree to the following terms:

1. Program Description

First Baptist Church of Colbert Heights sends text messages to congregation members and community subscribers who have consented to receive updates. Messages include informational alerts regarding weekly service schedules, ministry events, volunteer opportunities, and emergency weather cancellations.

2. Opt-Out & Support

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to our number. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time. For help, you can contact the church office directly.

3. Cost and Frequency

Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies depending on church activities, notifications, and emergency alerts. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

4. Carrier Liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
